JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated systems engineer to join an exciting team developing state of the art Flight Management Systems. This position involves Simulink models and preparing the models to meet DO-178C DAL B certification standards, including using a number of tools, models and auto-generated code to ensure they are compliant per the tools. Once compliance is determined, the team will create the Peer Review artifacts in the Client system and send them out for formal review.      
Responsibilities
  • Update/prepare the Simulink model to meet standards.
  • Run tools on the generated code.
  • Prepare the Model Based peer review packages.
  • May update hand code in C++ or Python scripts in the test environment.
  • Review of high and low-level requirements-based tests.
  • Collection and review of test results.
  • Test failure root cause analysis and correction (writing problem reports for incorrect requirements or code, or correction and re-run of incorrect tests).
Requirements
  • Experience developing models using in Matlab/Simulink in a development environment.
  • Detailed software and hardware test lab experience. 
  • ?Experience with DO-178C DAL B processes.
  • Understanding of a peer review process in a certification environment.

FPGA Design and Test Engineer

We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated signal process design engineer to join an exciting team developing state of the art Field Programmable Gate Arrays for medical devices. This position involves the verification of a signal processing design with an embedded core, working with prototype boards to develop prototype software, develop and execute tests and confirm functionality, debug and root cause issues, execute test cases that are lengthy and not suitable for simulation.
Responsibilities 
  • Coordinate with the VHDL Design team and the Simulation team to identify corner cases and compare results.
  • Join existing team who is establishing the Universal Verification Methodology (UVM) environment.
  • Develop UVM Scoreboards to Implement Self-Checking Simulation Tests.  
  • Troubleshooting RTL Design Flaws using Simulation Environment.

Requirements
  • Knowledge of digital systems and components, FPGA design methodologies, testing, debugging, root causing and testing methodologies.
  • Needs to have a good working knowledge of UVM, in the area of script development.

  • Familiarity with Register Modeling and Predicting Register Behavior.
  • Experience developing UVM Agents, Drivers, Monitors and Sequence Items.
